Martin Owens-Leather
Carpenter
Some things are best taught the old fashioned way. Martin got his passion for carpentry learning from his Uncle Terry, a Sheffield based carpenter. From aged 14 Martin worked every Saturday and the school holidays working for Terry and learning the trade, before heading to college and then a 3 year apprenticeship to fully qualify. A decade (or 3) later and Little Lane was formed, named after the final home project.....the forever home built by Martin for his family.
The Little Lane Philosophy
Martin works on and manages every project at Little Lane, no 'subbing out' of projects, and with only one job booked at a time you can rest assured your project will get his full attention, whether it's one door needing to be hung or a whole new kitchen.
Rather than employing full time staff Little Lane has a wide range of trades professionals who are selected for each job according to finding the right skill base for your project. From labourers, to electricians plumbers and plasterers we can take away the hassle of trying to find trusted professionals for your job. Have a preferred person in mind? Not a problem at all we will work alongside your regular trades happily.
